This was a first year at AUB brief; the aim was to make a series of magazine spreads for a TED talk, of which I chose The History of Human Emotions by Tiffany Watt Smith.

This TED talk emphasised how emotions have changed throughout history, so I was careful with choosing my colours and creating imagery relating to emotion.

I photographed peers with natural reactions and manipulated these using scanners to emphasise or disguise emotions.

Using heavy photography allowed the words to be expressed through them.Type manipulation was also done through the same process of scanners to create a lucid effect for the title spread.
